BEIJING-- The high-performance, inexpensive expert system model released just recently by Chinese startup DeepSeek has created a wave of attention around the globe. DeepSeek-R1 appears to offer efficiency that rivals options from the U.S., however the company states it was established at less than a tenth of the cost of those models. news portal 36Kr spoke with the company's creator, Liang Wenfeng, yogicentral.science in July 2024.
